JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Manager, Financial Systems to own and evolve the financial side of our Workday ecosystem, including ERP, Procurement, Contracting, and related financial platforms. This is a high-impact individual contributor role with the opportunity to build and lead a small team over time as our Workday footprint expands. You will serve as the organization’s Workday financial systems expert, partnering closely with Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and executive leadership to design a scalable, efficient, and future-ready Workday environment. ESSENTIAL FUCTIONS:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Workday Financials and related systems, ensuring our ERP, Procurement, Contracting, and FP&A platforms are scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

• Serve as the primary Workday Financials architect, leading configuration, security design, business process optimization, integrations, and data model governance.

• Partner closely with HR to support long-range Workday planning, ensuring Finance and People systems evolve cohesively as part of a unified enterprise architecture.

• Evaluate new Workday features and modules, conduct impact analyses, develop business cases, and present recommendations to executive leadership.

• Lead end-to-end system enhancements, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, documentation, and change management.

• Drive automation and workflow optimization, identifying opportunities to streamline procurement, contracting, budgeting, and financial operations.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, analytics models, and reporting frameworks that improve financial visibility and support data-driven decision-making.

• Oversee data integrity, validation, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

• Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve integration, API, and data flow challenges.

• Act as a bridge between Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and executive leadership, translating business needs into scalable, sustainable system solutions.

• Lead special projects, including system upgrades, module implementations, cross-functional initiatives, and enterprise-wide process redesign.

• Build and maintain documentation, training materials, and user resources to support adoption and system literacy across the organization.

• As the Workday ecosystem expands, hire, mentor, and lead a small team of financial systems analysts, shaping the future structure of the Financial Systems function.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• 4–6 years of experience in financial systems management, Workday Financials, or similar ERP platforms.

• Strong understanding of ERP systems (Workday, Oracle, SAP), procurement tools, contracting systems, and FP&A platforms (Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage vendor relationships. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

• Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries.

• Experience with dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau).

• Background in change management or process improvement.

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS:

Prove immunity to Hepatitis B or be immunized or sign a waiver refusing hepatitis immunization. Provide documentation of a PPD test conducted not more than 90 days prior to date of hire or have a PPD test conducted.
