JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Cycle Counter will be all assigned tasks relating to inventory
control, including maintaining inventory counts and communicating inventory needs. Advise
Materials Management of supply shortages. Perform all duties with judgment, and self-motivation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Submit accurate cycle counts on a daily basis. Accurately input daily counts in designated
system(s).
2. Prepares various reports such as inventory balances and variance reports.
3. Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
4. Prepare & Communicate Inventory to Supervisors utilizing Microsoft Excel.
5. Perform various counts/investigations.
6. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors in
computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
7. Operate various equipment including forklifts, scanners and computers.
8. Lift parts and containers that weigh up to 50lbs.
9. Assist with yearly physical inventory and communicate issues to management/customer.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• One (1) year relevant experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
PREFERENCES:
Forklift certification, experience in a medical facility processing inventory.
