Then consider the Education Coordinator role at TriCore in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position supports the Learning and Development Department which provides training and education across the organization. The primary responsibilities include, administering tuition reimbursement programs, coordinating new employee orientation, organizing teaching materials, and scheduling of department activities and events. This is an entry level position for candidates interested in growing their training, administration and human resource skills.
The Education Coordinator provides administrative coordination and support to the Workforce Education & Development department to ensure the highest quality of education and training. The primary responsibilities include, administering tuition reimbursement programs, coordinating new employee orientation, organizing teaching materials, and scheduling of department activities and events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Administers education assistance programs including, but not limited to, tuition reimbursement, exam reimbursement, and waiver programs.
2. Supports the coordination of academic affiliations and vendor contracts for the department.
3. Assists with the scheduling of student rotations with training programs and technical department preceptors.
4. Provides orientation of students to the TriCore policies and procedures.
5. Provides logistical support for New Employee Orientation and other education/training programs to include scheduling, procurement of meeting space, and communication to attendees.
6. Coordinates instructional material and tools for education and training programs delivered by the department.
7. Maintains required records, reports and statistics as directed.
8. Supports the maintenance of learning systems, including learning management systems, e- learning platforms and department SharePoint site.
9. Assists in educating the community on the need for laboratory professions, including presentations in schools and other youth programs.
10.Provides program coordination and support for employee engagement activities.
11.May assist in preparations for accreditation inspections.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
• High school diploma or equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years in an administrative or support operations position
PREFERRED:
Healthcare or laboratory experience Associate’s degree
